Submissions

Hudson Whitman/Excelsior College Press (HW/ECP) currently welcomes unsolicited, electronic submissions for well-written nonfiction books and other projects that are both relevant to contemporary readers and related to the college’s academic strengths. Acquisitions areas include health care, nursing, military interest, criminal justice, education, the Jewish experience, business & technology, and American culture & society. Book-length nonfiction manuscripts or professional proposals will be considered, as well as interactive, multi-media projects. In order to reduce our carbon footprint and to help streamline our manuscript management process, materials are accepted electronically for a small fee via Submittable. If we feel your project shows promise, HW/ECP will contact you in approximately 2-4 weeks. Please tell us if you are submitting your proposal to other publishers and, if so, notify us in the event that another publisher offers you a contract.
